JD-08 Librarian
Do you own a Roland JD-08? Are you tired of restoring purchased .SVD files all the time and possibly losing your own creations? Or, maybe, you want to create a super-bank with the best patches of others combined... Or maybe, you are a sound designer who wants some flexibility when creating their own banks - then this tool is for you!
This tool makes it easy for you to open any number of .SVD files at the same time and list/find/rename/move/sort patches in them, as well as move patches between banks simply by copying and pasting, or even by exporting/importing single ones. Furthermore, it allows you to import patches from JD-800 Cloud VST banks to your JD-08 device, and also convert your JD-08 presets to JD-800 Cloud-loadable libraries.
Once you have your bank ready and named, it can create .txt patch lists in one click! Alternatively, you can write down the patch names in a list, and use this librarian to read that text file and rename them automatically in the .SVD!
Compatible with Windows 2000-Windows 11
Requires .NET Framework 2.0
New in v2.4: Added ability to group and move selected presets to any position in one go, plus many bug fixes here and there.
New in v2.3: Several minor UI bug fixes and big performance optimizations - all group/sort actions are now instant.
New in v2.2: is is now able to read from and create banks for the Roland Cloud JD-800 plug-in! Unlike JDTools, you can select the patches to be imported/exported. This opens up the possibility of editing your patches in the plug-in software.
